Students from The Stony Brook School continue to be recognized for their musical endeavors. Several students performed at the SCMEA All County in the fall. Playing the violin were seniors Samantha Lee (Islip) and Khloe Meitz (Huntington Sta.). Using her voice as an instrument was senior Tzu-Han "Ann" Chen (Taiwan).
Senior Samantha Lee (Islip) and her sister sophomore Kara Lee (Islip) performed earlier this spring at the Long Island String Festival Association (LISFA) on the violin and cello respectively.
Three talented cello musicians will attend the SCMEA All-County this spring, they are: sophomore Forrest Hull (NJ), sophomore Kara Lee (Islip), and freshman Soo Young Park (Korea).
Also in the spring, soprano singer senior Ann Chen (Taiwan) will attend MENC All-Eastern.
